Hello my name is Nicolas Dourthe and I was born in France but now I live in Berlin. I’m 30 years old but I feel like a teenager. My first time on the wakeboard was five years ago at Wasserskipark Zossen (Germany). My heart “beats” for two things, first is water and second the mountains, but now I have the third thing – my child. I like ski, snow, surf and climbing.

What​ ​do​ ​you​ ​love​ ​most​ ​about​ ​being​ ​a​ ​wakeboarder,​ ​and​ ​what’s​ ​the​ ​toughest​ ​part?
I​ ​love​ ​wakeboarding​ ​because​ ​ ​you​ ​can have​ ​such a ​good​ ​time​s ​with​ ​all the​ ​friends​ ​and​ ​get to​ ​know​ ​new riders​ ​and​ cables. I​ ​look​ ​at the​ ​progression​ ​today​ ​and it's getting crazy​ with all the new tricks and obstacles getting invented each day which is great especially for the next generations of riders. For​ ​me there is not toughest part except the injuries which are present in all sports.

Favorite​ ​kicker,​ ​slider,​ ​air​ ​trick?
My​ ​favorite​ ​trick​ ​on​ ​the​ ​kicker​ ​is​ ​Hs​ ​Bs​ ​540, on​ ​the​ ​slider​ ​i​ ​don’t​ ​have​ ​a​ ​favorite​ ​tricks, just​ ​i​ ​try​ ​with​ ​a style​ ​and​ ​combo.

What​ ​is​ ​the​ ​best​ ​cable​ ​park​ ​you’ve​ ​ever​ ​ridden​ ​?
The​ ​best​ ​now​ ​at​ ​the​ ​moment​ ​is​ ​Hip-notics​ ​in​ ​Turkisch​ ​and​ ​Wakelake​ ​Wörth​ ​in​ ​Germany​ ​.
